Bill 2, Protect Ontario Through Free Trade Within Canada Act, 2025

The Standing Committee on Finance and Economic Affairs will meet to consider Bill 2, An Act to enact the Buy Ontario, Buy Canadian Day Act, 2025 and the Ontario Free Trade and Mobility Act, 2025 and to amend various other Acts.

The Committee intends to hold public hearings in Toronto on Tuesday, May 27, 2025.

Interested people who wish to be considered to make an oral presentation on Bill 2 are required to register by 2:00 p.m. (EDT) on Tuesday, May 13, 2025.

Those who do not wish to make an oral presentation but wish to comment on the bill may send a written submission by 6:00 p.m. (EDT) on Tuesday, May 27, 2025.
