Appointment of Vice-Chairs

The Chair (Mr. Tom Rakocevic): Thank you, everyone. Of course, I graciously accept, and I appreciate your vote in this matter. I’m glad to be back as Chair.

I’m looking for any members to suggest the First Vice-Chair for the committee. MPP Cooper.

Mrs. Michelle Cooper: I move that David Smith be appointed as First Vice-Chair of the committee.

Appointment of subcommittee

The Chair (Mr. Tom Rakocevic): The next agenda item is the subcommittee on committee business—that is the person representing each of the official parties who will be meeting as part of the subcommittee. So it’s a motion to nominate. MPP Cooper.

Mrs. Michelle Cooper: I move that the subcommittee on committee business be appointed to meet from time to time, at the call of the Chair, or at the request of any member thereof, to consider and report to the committee on the business of the committee;

That the presence of all members of the subcommittee is necessary to constitute a meeting; and

That the subcommittee be composed of the following members: the Chair as Chair, Jess Dixon, Lee Fairclough and Jessica Bell; and

That substitution be permitted on the subcommittee.
